LORA WALLACE, BS, CLC

Lora is a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor with the WIC office in Boise. She is a mother of 5, all of whom she breastfed (including her twin girls) which gave her the start she needed to realize her passion for breastfeeding and her desire to help other breastfeeding mothers be successful.

Lora became a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor in 2016 at the WIC office in Idaho Falls, where she became a Certified Lactation Consultant. After moving to the Boise area in 2018, she was quick to join the WIC office in Boise so she could continue to assist breastfeeding mothers. 

​

In addition to serving the breastfeeding mothers in the WIC program, Lora is currently working with Central District Health to expand breastfeeding counseling services to non-WIC mothers as well. 

Lora holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Boise State University.
